Comfort As Part Of Success And The Promise In Failure
Does God promise only comfort and pleasure in this life? Are all prayers answered by believers? Are all the sick healed? God does comfort. He does answer prayer. He does heal the sick. These things do happen. But not always. Sometimes we aren't relieved by God. Sometimes we merely endure. This isn't necessarily a bad t hing. We are never nearer to God than when we are troubled. Actually, a lot of times we forget God in good times of comfort and ease. But in those bad times, all of a sudden we remember God and ask him for his help.
