Hell...even Christians don't like to think or talk about it. It is however a reality that will bring us total separation from God and will be the ultimate failure. Does God want to send us to Hell? Not at all, he wants us to accept him. Many people reject God and Hell represents the ultimate place of rejection.
You might say that there is no hell. If Christians are wrong and you are right, there is no consequence in our belief, however, if we are right, the consequences for you will be beyond imagination.
In my opinion, there is no more important issue to research than that of our relationship with Jesus. You don't want to be wrong on this. And don't wait until tomorrow...tomorrow is only a promise. If you do your research, you will find that Jesus is the only way to heaven...all other ways will result in failure. By the way, salvation is a GIFT and can't be earned. You can't just say that I lived a good life and therefore I will go to heaven...nowhere in the bible does it say that. Check out our section called Success After Death for more info.
"Say to them: 'As I live,' says the Lord GOD, 'I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?' Ezekiel 33:11 (NKJV)
"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. "Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Matthew 7:13-14 (NKJV)
"The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness," and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. "Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear! Matt 13:41-43 (NKJV)
"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind, "which, when it was full, they drew to shore; and they sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away. "So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just, "and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth." Matthew 13:47-50 (NKJV)
"But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." Revelation 21:8 (NKJV)
