A True Love Of God Will Bring The Biggest Success Of All

Do you love God? Do you love God more that your wife or kids? Are we devoted to him? Most people
would say that they love their kids or spouse for than anything. Some even say they
love their car or jewelry more than anything. It might surprise you that the bible says
to love God more than your kids, your spouse, even your own life. It's hard at first to
get our heads around that idea, however, God wants us to have our priorities straight.
The great thing is that when we put him firsts, he let's you enjoy everything else in
your life. If we don't, your balance in your life will always be off and it will eventually
cost you everything you have including your wife and kids. Here is what the bible has
to say about this subject.

Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your
heart. Psalms 37:4 (NKJV)

I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me.
Proverbs 8:17 (NKJV)

The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in
truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their
cry and save them. The LORD preserves all who love Him, But all the
wicked He will destroy. Psalms 145:18-20 (NKJV)

"If you love Me, keep My commandments. "And I will pray the Father, and
He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever--
John 14:15-16 (NKJV)

"He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me.
And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to
him." John 14:21 (NKJV)

Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father
will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. "He who does not love
Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who
sent Me. John 14:23-24 (NKJV)

But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of
man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him." 1 Corinthians 2:9 (NKJV)

And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested Him, saying, "Teacher, what shall I do to
inherit eternal life?" He said to him, "What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?"
So he answered and said, " 'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all
your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,' and 'your neighbor as yourself.' "
And He said to him, "You have answered rightly; do this and you will live."

If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his
brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from
Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also. 1 John 4:20-21 (NKJV)
