Success In Marriage

I've been blessed with a great marriage. Putting God first has been our key to
success in Marriage. I've been to weddings where one of the spouses left our certain
parts of the vows. I'm sad to say that the success rate is no better in the Christian
community than outside of it. Our enemy (Satan) is here to divide and destroy. It
takes work to make a marriage work but when you put God first and put his principles
to work, your chances are much better.

Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and
adulterers God will judge. Hebrews 13:4 (NKJV)

Drink water from your own cistern, And running water from your own well.
Should your fountains be dispersed abroad, Streams of water in the streets?
Let them be only your own, And not for strangers with you. Let your
fountain be blessed, And rejoice with the wife of your youth. As a loving

Nevertheless, because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife,
and let each woman have her own husband. Let the husband render to

this manner and another in that. But I say to the unmarried and to the widows: It is good for
them if they remain even as I am; but if they cannot exercise self-control, let them marry. For

But to the rest I, not the Lord, say: If any brother has a wife who does not believe, and she is
willing to live with him, let him not divorce her. And a woman who has a husband who does
not believe, if he is willing to live with her, let her not divorce him. For the unbelieving husband
is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your
children would be unclean, but now they are holy. But if the unbeliever departs, let him depart;
a brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases. But God has called us to peace. For
how do you know, O wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, O

Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as
also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the
church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands,
love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might
sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious
church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. So husbands
ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his
own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. For we are members of His body, of His
flesh and of His bones. "For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the
two shall become one flesh." This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless
let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
