Obedience

We all like to do our own thing "be independent" and only call on God when we have
a problem.   Unfortunately it doesn't work this way. It takes faith and obedience to
experience God's full purpose for your lives. It's hard, but every time I'm obedient the
reward is worth it.

"See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, "in that I command
you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His
commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and
multiply; and the LORD your God will bless you in the land which you go to
possess. Deuteronomy 30:15-16 (NKJV)

"And you shall do what is right and good in the sight of the LORD, that it
may be well with you, and that you may go in and possess the good land of
which the LORD swore to your fathers, Deuteronomy 6:18 (NKJV)

"Therefore hear, O Israel, and be careful to observe it, that it may be well
with you, and that you may multiply greatly as the LORD God of your
fathers has promised you--'a land flowing with milk and honey.'

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to
His purpose. Romans 8:28 (NKJV)

But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the

And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are
