Prayer - The #1 Key To Success

Prayer brings us closer to God. Prayer will change you. Prayer changes the world.
Most of us only pray when we're in trouble or when we're in church. Prayer should be
part of us all day. Prayer is not just asking about things you need, but also about
giving thanks to God. How close is your relationship? I can tell you this, when God is
my #1 focus and prayer is part of my daily life, I feel a difference no matter what's
happening in my life. I feel refreshed, positive, full of energy. I also hear God clearer.

The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in
truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their
cry and save them. Psalms 145:18-19 (NKJV)

The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their
cry. Psalms 34:15 (NKJV)

The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all
their troubles. Psalms 34:17 (NKJV)

"Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set
him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I
will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation."
Psalms 91:14-16 (NKJV)

Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart,
saying: "There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. "Now
there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, 'Get justice for me from my
adversary.' "And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, 'Though I do
not fear God nor regard man, 'yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by
her continual coming she weary me.' " Then the Lord said, "Hear what the unjust judge said.
"And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears
long with them? "I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of
Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?" Luke 18:1-8 (NKJV)

"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
"For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be
opened. "Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a
stone? "Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? "If you then, being evil, know
how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give
good things to those who ask Matthew 7:7-11 (NKJV)

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will,
He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have
asked of Him. 1 John 5:14-15 (NKJV)

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made
known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through
Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV)

"But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the
secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. Matthew 6:6 (NKJV)

Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the
Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Romans 8:26 (NKJV)
