My PPV Site Choices…

I like PPV advertising as part of my advertising mix.  You can produce some very good leads for a low cost.

Here are some of the sites I have used.  Also, feel free to add to this list if you have used others that have worked well.

WordLinx

This is one of the main PPV sites I use.  I track all my ads with Google Analytics…which solid numbers when it comes to WordLinx

ClixSense

One of the nice things about this site is that you can target your ads to specific interest groups.  I’ve used this site with great success when advertising for writers for www.SuccessAndFailure.net

Video Marketing is one of the greatest ways to drive traffic, build brand loyalty and more.  It’s very similar to article marketing and it’s even more powerful.  Google and other search engines put more weight on a video than an article. Check out my Video Marketing Training and Video Marketing Tools to help you take advantage of this great method to drive traffic.

On this blog lets talk about your favorite business opportunities.  My personal experience with making money from home is that it’s not quit how it’s advertised, that is just join and you’ll make millions not really doing anything but go walk on the beach.  It takes commitment just like any other business.  There is also a learning curve as far as marketing is concerned.

Just be careful out there.  Stay away from the people that tell you that you’ll get rich quick.  That you’ll make thousands of dollars just by joining.

I’d like to hear about any good business opportunity that is solid.  I’d be happy to post it on my website if you do.

Overall, if you know some of the basics of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) you can definitely do well just from writing articles and posting videos.  Of course it takes some time to really get good at it and you will have to know a little about html code, anchor links, link exchanges and more.

I found a great guy who knows SEO extremely well.  Check out my SEO section on my site for his link.

You might have come across a top earner in an Online Opportunity or for that matter any business opportunity who had a website that offered a replicated site where the top earner becomes your marketing partner.

The problem with that set-up is that you’ll lose most of your leads to that leader who’s face is on your website.  People have the tendency to go with the top earner.  I would say that after a while that top earner does not even have to advertise since most of his followers drive all the traffic to that site.

What you need to do is start on your own story and create momentum.

There are many reasons why people fail in business, however, after working with hundreds of people that dreamed of becoming successful in their own business, I must say that the number 1 reason why people fail is in a home business is that they expect to get rich quick.

They don’t want to learn marketing or work on their communications skills, or read.  It took me years to learn how to drive traffic, work on my own success story and learn how to convert traffic into sales.  And, I’m still learning.  There are new techniques every day.  You must have a desire to learn…what worked yesterday might not work today.

Check out some of the articles on my website that talk about other mistakes to avoid in your home based business.

When you start out learning about advertising and marketing, it is easy to try to bite off more than you can chew.  It can happen to even to most esperienced.  In other words, you try to learn too many advertising and marketing strategies at the same time.  What can happen is that you get overwhelmed at the prospect of having to learn too many marketing strategies at the time and you end up learning none well.  Plus, if you take on too many marketing techniques at a time, you are less likely to put them into practice.  You will also not do what it takes to make each method work. Just realize that learning each of these techniques will take a little time.

To avoid this problem, I recommend to take on one marketing strategy at a time.  Instead of trying to learn video marketing, social networking, article marketing, etc. all at once.  I would recommend focusing your attention at learning one thing at a time. Say to yourself…”this month I will learn and put into practice video marketing, etc.”.  Get an overall understanding of that subject…make some notes…make your own step by step outline…and then give it a try and put it into practice.  The good news is that my marketing training site takes a 50 page e-book on a subject and gives you a reader’s digest version, focusing on the most important parts of each marketing strategy, so you can learn the basics of each marketing technique within a very short period of time.  There will be additional marketing and advertising techniques you will learn as you put your newfound knowledge to work of course…it a never-ending process.  I learn something almost every day.
Bottom line, focus, focus, focus on just one marketing strategy at a time.  And then finally, put your new learned marketing skills into practice.  I see so many people who join the training call every week and never implement what they have learned.  Pleople say…”wow Peter, how did you get to the # 1 spot with the keyword “Online Marketing Training” in Google, etc?  All I do is put what I teach into practice…that’s all.  It can work for you too.  Let make it happen!

This powerful keyword suggestion tool is my favorite tool.  It tells you how much traffic a keyword is getting each month.  It also tells you what other keywords are related and how much traffic they are getting.  I’m working on a new website that deals with successes and failures in life.  I was researching the word Adultery and it was getting 246,000 searches per month.  I also found out the the word affair was getting 2,240,000 searches.  I hope you can see the power of such a tool.  I love it…enjoy!
