At least Anne Graham's comment is not boring. Her father's latest annotated autobiography contains some real eye-openers also, more regarding the U.S. Presidents he knew than his crusades which lb. for lb. were a net loss and "failure",which you speak about(but in a less insightful, hence less interesting way. I just finished reading T.Stewart's biography of Stan Musial. At a high school reunion in Donora,PA not many years ago he followed a radio preacher/evangelist who declared "[He was born again,[he] was saved." Stan then got up and said, "I'd give anything if I could be where [this classmate]is today." Name edited to spare the evangelist embarassment since he hemmed and hawed afterwards trying to say that Stan,as a Roman Catholic, didn't need what he had because he was a good enough person, already. But didn't Mr.Musial know that he lacked something deeper, irrespective of his celebrity status?I'm quoting from memory so it may have some errors but Stan's reflection is clear and the message is worth thinking about. Blogs on religion generally are OK but when they contain too many pat answers that discourages people from thinking their own thoughts. Diminishing returns produce stagnation and an undeserved commitment to the status quo.We have fresh messages but the Church Establishment tries to rub them out; the public goes along because humans don't want to change their lives.God intervenes when, to what extent AND with whom He will by revelation and endless memorizing and quoting of the Bible can't nullify that fact, although until the 20th Century it has largely obscured it. So,quit straining at gnats and swallowing camels and may we meet at a better blog.

The interpretation of the quran is not in any way the same as the Bible. The quiran was wrtten by man, but the Bible is the literal Word of God. God who is Jesus, is the author of the Bible from beginning to end.

For Mauricio...I love this scripture...

And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. "And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful." Revelations 21:3-5 (NKJV)

No man has life apart from Christ. Jesus isn't just an addition onto an already great life. He is much more than a cherry on top of an already good life. Christ is everything or nothing. Wealth, riches, fame, and health profit nothing....

Great video on this question:

Luke 13:1-5 is certainly very applicable for this question.
