Our Mighty GOD
“To whom will you compare me? Or who is my equal?” says the Holy One. Lift your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one, and calls them each by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing. Isaiah 40:25-26
I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live. That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil—this is the gift of God. I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that men will revere him. Ecclesiastes 3:12-14
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:6-7
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Matthew 6:25-27
“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
Matthew 6:5-8
“This, then, is how you should pray: ” ‘
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. Matthew 6:9-13
How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him (Jesus). Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he (Jesus) appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. (face to face) Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure. 1 John 3:1-3
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. (manifest these qualities) Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. Colossians 3:12-16
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

My name is Mark Horowitz. Throughout my childhood and adolescence, I believed there was a God, but never understood or knew Him. Being raised in a non-religious Jewish home, I lived my life without ever recognizing I was a sinner and that the forgiveness and love of God was something needed and available to me. I always thought I was a “good person” and that would be good enough to get into Heaven, especially being Jewish. After I got married, my wife Sharel started reading the Bible. She was so excited about what she was learning. Every day she tried relentlessly to get me to read the Word with her. I wanted to have nothing to do with it. I was hostile to anything that had to do with Jesus Christ. After hearing her say, "why don’t I believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah?" I asked myself that very question. Was it because of my Jewish upbringing? I wondered if there is more to this than what I perceived. I started reading the Bible on my own personal journey of truth finding prophecies of the Messiah in the Old Testament, then reading their fulfillment in the New Testament. More and more God revealed his truth to me. In 1992, at the age of thirty seven, I asked Jesus into my heart as my Lord and Savior. By his grace I am able to share his word with others. The Lord has given me a ministry to spread the Word of God through the Internet using “Biblestuph.com” I started putting selected scriptures together every week with a theme so that believers and nonbelievers could grow in the knowledge of God. I know that the Word of God is vital for salvation and spiritual growth. "Nuggets of Wisdom" will help people understand the essence of life by beautifully connecting the scriptures together so that they will discover: • Answers that will bring light to the needs, questions, and challenges that we face each day. • Promises that will bring the fullness of God’s love, truth, and hope to our hearts. • Words that will bring people to a personal encounter and revelation of the Savior, the Messiah, the Word, Jesus Christ! eMail: nuggetsofwisdom.us@gmail.com For Mark Horowitz's Bio Click Here!
