For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 3:11).
There’re several books and teachings on success written by men without spiritual insight or scriptural foundation. Sadly, some Christians spend a great deal of time brooding through such materials in search of success principles, not caring to find out if these authors themselves succeeded through their own prescriptions on success. Only God’s Word can make you a true success.
Human knowledge of wisdom can’t make you a permanent success in life. You need the Holy Spirit, the author of life Himself, to teach you through His Word, how to be successful in life. Psalm 39:5, says ‘’…verily, every man at his best state is altogether vanity.’’ Human wisdom or expertise is not enough to put you over in life. You’d have to go for the wisdom of God. Proverbs 4:7 says, ‘’wisdom is the principle thing; therefore get wisdom…’’ and wisdom is the Word of God.
The world’s economies are in shambles today, in spite of the great works of the best economists and financial teachers of the world. All the economic theories and postulations are crumbling because they were founded on man’s wisdom. God has given us His Word to teach us how to live a joyous, successful, vibrant, and prosperous life on earth! If you’d only follow the Lord and live by His Word, you’ll be a success and you’ll have no fear of tomorrow!
Joshua 1:8 unveils God’s tested and guaranteed recipe for unending success: ‘’This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.’’ God has given you everything you’d ever need for a successful life; but they’re all wrapped up in the Word. So get the Word into your spirit; it’s the only sure foundation for a successful, victorious and prosperous life; there’s none other.
Prayer
My life is built on the Word of God; the sure foundation for success. When the storms of life billow against me, I’ll not be moved because I stand secure in the Word, conscious that the greater One indwells me! Of the increase of my success and progress, there shall be no end, because I have made the Word my stay and my meditation! Blessed be the Name of the Lord!

Philippians 1:9-11

Also [Jesus] told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not to turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up) (Luke 18:1 AMP).
1 Thessalonians 5:17 says, ‘’Pray without ceasing’’; that means continue in prayer until there’s a change; don’t give up; don’t give in! Some Christians give up too quickly; but faith never gives up. It’s like what happens to the Apostles in Acts Chapter 12, when Herod arrested Peter, having killed James, one of the Apostles. Herod saw that killing James pleased the Jews. So he purposed to do the same with Peter. However, the Bible says ‘’…prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him’’ (Acts 12:5).
The Holy Spirit specifically emphasized the phrase ‘’without ceasing.’’ This shows that the Apostles made petitions and gave God all the reasons Peter’s life should be spared; and they continue in prayer until he was miraculously delivered. They knew they had the tool with which to effect the change they desired; the tool of effective fervent prayers; and they prevailed.
Christianity is for the tough minded; we don’t give up or give in; we don’t faint in the day of adversity. We’re not at the mercy of Satan; we know exactly what to do when he shows up; we use the Name of Jesus against him. We’ve been given the right and power of attorney to use the Name of Jesus, and make our petitions known to our heavenly Father for answers.
This is what you must do when you need to change things; continue in prayer. Pray fervently with the Word until you have a note of victory in your spirit.
James 5:16-18 says ‘’…the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availed much. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.’’ Elijah prayed this way and got results; He didn’t give up or give in!
You too can take advantage of God’s Word and insist on your rights in Christ. Take God’s Word to him in prayer, and continue until there is a change.
Prayer
Dear Father, thank you for the opportunity to effect positive and lasting changes through prayer. Knowing that your ears are ever attentive to my voice to answer my prayers, I remain steadfast, therefore, not staggering in the face of contrary circumstances, but upholding my victory in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!

Rapsody Of Realities
Take my yoke upon you…For my yoke is easy. And my burden is light (Mathew 11:29-30).
The instructions and responsibilities God gives you are not burdensome at all. 1 John 5:3 says His commandments are not grievous. He’ll never ask you to do something that’s beyond your ability. All He asks is that you trust in His Word and act your faith. That’s how simple the kingdom life is; you don’t have to toil.
Think about it: All the sins you ever committed were automatically blotted out by the blood of Christ! As numerous and terrible as they were, all you had to do was to confess with your mouth the Lordship of Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you became a new creation (Romans 10:9). You became righteous in an instant, and were translated into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. Now, you have dominion over Satan and the cohorts of darkness; glory to God!
If it was that simple for you to receive salvation and have eternal life imparted to your spirit, then you have to agree that life in the kingdom is that way too. All you have to do is receive and appropriate for yourself all the wonderful blessings of salvation: wholeness, preservation, health, peace, deliverance, safety, security, victory, success, and prosperity! All these and more are included in the salvation package!
The Word ‘’Lord’’ doesn’t only mean boss; it also means bread-provider, protector and caretaker. So when you declare that Jesus is Lord of your life, you’re saying His your bread-provider, Protector, Caretaker and the One who has responsibility over your life. It’s that easy. Don’t think it’s too simple to be true. Live without stress today and always.
Prayer
Precious Father, I thank you for your goodness and the opportunity you’ve given me to bask in your blessings and live the good life you’ve freely made available to me in Christ. I lay all burdens at your feet, and choose the stress-free life! Thank you for taking charge of my family, health, finances and all that concerns me; I live in absolute joy today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Asking The Right Question-Are Your Daddy Issues Keeping You From God?
Cool Doesn’t Mean Good
A lot of times I’ve heard that there are people in this generation who don’t trust God because of the broken relationship they have with their father, whether he left, was abusive, or just generally didn’t seem to care. They can’t accept that God the Father will never leave or let them down. They don’t believe that He loves them, no matter what. But I see another problem… There seems to be casualness about God. Let me tell you something… God is not a “cool parent.” He is the Maker of the universe. He has the power to give life…and take it away. He’s not your buddy. He doesn’t “let things slide” and He’s not the kind of parent who will let you throw a rager in the basement as long as you promise not to leave the house.
God is too perfect and loves us too much to be that kind of parent. He does not need our approval. He is not insecure in who He is… I mean, who else can respond with “I AM” when someone ask them who they are? Just Him. People who have grown up with “cool dads” have an equally hard time coming to the Father as those who have come from “deadbeat dads”. People with cool dads don’t understand discipline. They think that it is unfair and cruel. They don’t realize it comes from a place of love and correction. See Hebrews 12:5-6 where it says: “My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you, because the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.”
God loves us and accepts us as His children! He is the best parent of all, and part of that comes from His willingness to discipline us to keep us from further harm. If there’s no consequence for bad behavior, what’s to stop us from doing it over and over and over again? And if we don’t stop doing all the wrong things, we’ll be forever separated from Him…and that’s not what He wants at all. So to all you children of God, rejoice in His love, even when He’s disciplining you! Remember all the pain and suffering He is keeping you from. And to all you parents and future parents… don’t do your kids the disservice of being a cool parent. Love them enough to show them what’s right, and steer them away from what’s wrong.

Five Truths When You Lose
For no apparent reason, I was missing my folks this past weekend.
That’s despite the fact that it’s been almost six years since my dad died and more than eight years since my mom passed away.
Even though I’m a grown man with a family of my own, the loss of my parents still lingers and seems to sneak up on me in unexpected ways.
And during those past few years, I’ve come to realize a few truths about loss:
1. Loss Happens to Us All
During our lives, each of us will experience the pain and tragedy of loss in some way or form. It’s unavoidable. It doesn’t matter if you’re rich, poor, educated or simpleminded the simple truth is you will lose something that matters to you in this lifetime.
2. Life is Loss
No matter how wonderful your life might be, you will lose some aspect of your life that will diminish its quality. Whether it’s your health, youth, freedom, mobility, relationships, status or sense of security – some aspect of your life will decrease over time.
3. Time Won’t Heal All Wounds
Although this sentiment sounds good in greeting cards and pithy tweets, the idea that time alone heals all wounds is simply false. The only thing that time tends to do is dull the pain, but time in and of itself doesn’t heal the emotional wound of loss.
4. Each of Us Decides Our Response to Loss
Despite the morose tone of this post, I do believe that it’s up to each individual to decide whether they want to be bitter or better in the aftermath of loss. Ultimately you can flounder for the meaning of your life during the season of pain or assign meaning to the pain – much the same way that an expectant mother finds meaning through the pain of childbirth or a marathon runner who finds that completing a race is worth the painful training. Coping with loss requires a conscious decision that doesn’t happen on its own.
5. Faith Helps
Coping with loss is not merely a mental exercise, loss affects your entire being – mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Ignoring that fact only prolongs the pain and slows the healing.
My faith helped me see beyond the immediate confusion and feelings of disorientation I felt that accompanied losing my parents. I don’t understand everything or have answers to every question, but I do know that my faith has helped me help others who have experienced loss.
Ironically, that’s an unintended outcome that loss doesn’t diminish – loss actually affords us the opportunity to add comfort, support and help to those walking the path of pain.

1 John 3:1
Behold what manner of love the Father has given unto us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew him not.
We are called sons and daughters of the living God. What and honor that was bestow on us by Jesus Christ when he laid his life bare on a cross of wood. Condemn to die not because He did anything but what we did. Can you picture Him on the cross and the pain He endured so we can live a life like no other? His cry of pain and loneliness when He said, “My God, my God why have you forsaken me?” His Father couldn’t look upon His Son because of the sin that He carried for us His sons and daughters of the living God.
We who call Abba Father have a responsibility to our Father Jesus Christ. We need to run the race and do not think that you can’t. What do I have to share or give? You have nothing to give. But, Jesus Christ has everything to give and he calls us to live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. (Galatians 5:25) The Holy Spirit is here to teach, train, comfort, and live through us to the dying world that Jesus came to save.
The Lord has called us to deny ourselves and pick up the cross and follow him. (Matthew 16:24) I know this is hard because I struggle with it myself. I cry out to the Lord on bended knee in the whys of me. I can’t write. But, that is what’s great about our relationship because I need him desperately to help me. If I had a mission that was easy I probably wouldn’t depend on Him so much. Probably think I know what I need to do and do it on my own. Thinking that I was doing what God wanted and all the time doing it in myself. That is what King Saul did and God left him. King David needed God and David cried out to God. “The God of my rock; in him will I trust:he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my savior; you save me from violence.” (2 Samuel 22:3)
We can learn so much from the men and women in the Bible who walk with God. The Lord was with them and working through them. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8) The Holy Spirit is alive in you and Jesus Christ sent Him to you. He wants to be part of your life if you will let go of your life you can have His life.
The issue here is control. Let’s let go of the control button and let’s let the Holy Spirit reign in our life. I do not know about you but I do not have a learner’s permit to drive the Holy Spirit vehicle. I think some of you think you do know everything there is to know about the Holy Spirit. I like a good mystery and I like surprises that happen when you walk the walk with Jesus Christ at the head. It’s an exciting adventure for all ages from running a marathon in the rain forests to hang gliding through the mountains. My ways are scary and costly they take me through the darkest jungles of the Amazons to the lion pits in Africa and that does not interest me anymore.
We are called sons of God and that means we can travel first class with Jesus Christ as our pilot. We think because we did this horrible thing that Jesus won’t forgive you. He said to the woman at the well. Does anyone condemn you? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn you: go, and sin no more. (John 8:11)
Don’t make the reason for not entering in to what the Lord has for you be ‘sin’. We all struggle with sin and cry out to God to help us. With God’s help you can overcome any obstacle in your life. Read the heroes in the Bible and you will find many sinners there. King David was and adultery and murderer. Moses was a murderer, too. Some of our great preachers of this day have battle with addictions and sins. ‘Almighty LORD, you made heaven and earth by your great strength and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you. (Jeremiah 32:17)
Promises
Romans 8:37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
1John 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus.
Thank you, Lord for reminding me of answer prayer. That you are the great I AM who takes care of me and provides for my everyday needs. Who calls me his daughter and disciplines me in love.
I pray for the my brothers and sisters in the Lord that you awaken the Holy Spirit in each one of them that they will seek your face and relinquish their hold on their life to you Lord, Jesus Christ. That they will become more than conquerors in you and take that step of faith to walk in the light as you are in the light. So that they will shine like diamonds in the darkest of nights to a world that does not know you Lord. In Jesus Christ name, I pray. Amen.

Even as he spoke, many believed in him. To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:30-32

But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, (made right with God) and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. Romans 10:8-10
Thank you GOD for setting our hearts at rest!!!

The fruits of the Spirit is the sign of true faith and true walk with Christ. Galatians 5:22-23 says that The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Jesus used the example of a good tree and an evil tree. “Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit; neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them” (Matthew 7:16-20).The evil spirits are disembodied spirits, who were casted out of heaven with Satan who became his angels. Only when a person distances himself from God by a sinful way of life and plunges into the darkness of disbelief and the passions he is inviting evil spirit in his life.When an evil spirits enter into a person he remains in his sins and is controlled by his sins, there will be all kinds of sickness, diseases, rebellion, stubbornness, troubles etc occurs. When God removes His protective hand, he often turns the person over to Satan for destruction or to an evil spirit for tormenting.
The Bible has many names for evil spirits: Deaf and dumb spirit (Mark 9:17-29),Evil spirit (Luke 7:21; Acts 19:12-13),Familiar spirit (I Samuel 28:7),Foul spirit (Mark 9:25),Lying spirit (II Chronicles 18:20-22),Perverse spirit (Isaiah 19:14; Romans 1:17-32),Seducing spirit (I Timothy 4:1),Spirit of an unclean devil (Luke 4:33),Spirit of antichrist (I John 4:3),Spirit of bondage (Romans 8:15),Spirit of death (I Corinthians 10:10, 15:26),Spirit of divination (Acts 16:16), Spirit of error (I John 4:6), Spirit of fear (II Timothy 1:7),Spirit of haughtiness (Proverbs 16:18-19),Spirit of heaviness (Isaiah 61:3),Spirit of infirmity (Luke 13:11-13),Spirit of jealousy (Genesis 4:5-8; Numbers 5:14),Spirit of slumber (Isaiah 29:10, Romans 11:8),Spirit of the world (I Corinthians 2:12),Spirit of whoredoms (Hosea 4:12, 5:4),Unclean spirit (Mark 6:7; Luke 11:24-26).
An evil spirit in a person can be removed in the mighty the name of our Lord Jesus Christ our Lord and savior and by the power of the Holy Spirit and through his Blood. When evil spirit is casted out in a person it’s extremely vital to be filled with Holy Spirit which is to be filled with Christ by walking in the light, as Christ is the light, and the blood of Jesus Christ will cleanse from all unrighteousness. Ephesians 2:2 says wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience.
The Holy Spirit convicts us of our sin and moves in the life of the believer to equip him or her in the service of God. We repent and take a decision to turn away from our sins and walk towards God bearing a Good fruit and reaping the harvest of righteousness. (James 3:17-18). If the evil spirit is not replaced by the Holy spirit as Matthew 12:45 says then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that man is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation. But through Jesus Christ, “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
Fruits of evil spirit are: The gifts of the Holy Spirit can be imitated by demonic powers because Satan can also perform great miracles since Satan disguise himself as an angel of light.
Many people who profess to be be Christian are led astray by evil spirits and have departed from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.
Fruits of evil spirit are lasciviousness, lust, fornication, excess of wines, murder, stealing, lying, cheating, gossiping, slandering, gluttony, idolatry etc
Conclusion: Ephesians 4:27 says that we must neither give place or a ground to the devil. Resist the devil and he will flee from you! Amen.

For those who are in union with Christ, temptation and addictions are unable to touch us. Tobacco addiction is an addictive poison clearly harmful to our health and that itself makes a sin, hurts our testimony because it controls us which brings death and destruction. The Bible says, Sin when it is finished, brings forth death. Proverbs 5:22 says the evil deeds of a wicked man ensnare him; the cords of his sin hold him fast. Jesus said that the Devil is a liar, thief, and murderer who only comes to kill, steal, and destroy .Scripture warns us that “If any man defiles the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.” -1Corinthians 3:17.
Another big problem is when Parents , families, relatives and friends who get addicted to tobacco are controlled by their evil desires by setting bad examples for their children to follow and there are some other parents who will hide their addiction from their family members and pretend to be Godly and follow the hypocrite carnal path of lying, defending themselves living still a spiritually defeated Christian life and there are some who sit with their children and enjoy tobacco together as a family instead of sitting together for praying and enjoying quality time with family members. As parents we must teach our children not to be controlled by evil desires but to learn to resist and control them. James 4:7 says “Submit yourself therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you”.
Conclusion:God is waiting for you to come to Him .If you are using tobacco in any form, please be strong determined to stop NOW! You owe it to your loved ones, yourself and God to stop. I want to remind you Matthew 5:29-30 says if your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.
Prayer:
Father, I come to you, confessing my sin ,repenting for my sins and asking for your forgiveness.
In the Mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I surrender myself completely and I now renounce, break and loose myself and my family from all hereditary curses, and from all demonic bondage placed upon me as the result of sins, transgressions or iniquities through myself, my parents or any of my ancestors. I confess all the sins of my forefathers.
Father, I ask you to forgive me and my ancestors for any sin that has exposed me for this addiction and to live in bondage of sins. I command all evil spirits associated with any addictions to leave me in Jesus name.
In Jesus name I circumcise all my addiction thoughts and remove every pattern of tobacco addiction controlling me.
I now claim by faith that I am under divine protection and I cover myself with the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ to protect me from all addictions and evil desires.
I now confess that my body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, redeemed, cleansed and sanctified by the blood of Jesus. Therefore, Satan and any addictions has no place in me, and no power over me, through the blood of Jesus Christ. Lord I thank you for the provision of deliverance through the blood of Jesus Christ and the Gift of Life and I glorify your Name, all the days of my life. I thank you Jesus that you are the same God yesterday today and forever .Amen

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7
