In recovery having this kind of Attitude of Grattitude is one of our strongest tools. I've heard it said, "I a may be going through a hard day, but I have I used to go through hard years". I recently read an interesting article about delighting in the Lord (Psalm 37:4) http://johnstinson.wordpress.com/2011/09/20/122/ In his post John talks about how when we delight or (have grattitude for what God is doing) He will give us the desires of our heart. He point out that we don't need to go get what we desire, we don't have to find it, or compete for it...no God will GIVE it to us. I agree I am thankful to have God orchestrating my life.
