I wrote a poem and as it is Easter I thought I’d send it to you. If you want to use it that’s fine.

EASTER
On this day, my Savior arose.
He came forth from the grave,
As He had foretold.
He appeared to just a chosen few,
Completing the work He had to do.
Waiting for His Father to beckon Him home,
Clearing the way for the Comforter to come.
Rabbits have no place in His salvation plan.
Hiding eggs is another tradition of man,
Cleverly contrived to appeal to the young,
Diverting their attention from what
Jesus had done.
He died on the cross, Our sin debt to pay!
Easter really should be called
Resurrection Day!
