Better to be poor and honest than to be dishonest and rich!

1) Worldly rich: The love of money can motivate any evil on this earth. Rich sometimes get rich by oppressing the poor. There are many wicked rich people in this world who have hardened their hearts filled with arrogancy, selfishness, harshness, cold-heartedness throwing rich parties wasting their money on useless things, who are overfed and has no pity nor concerned about the poor but are hoarded with wealth, pride and refused to pay their workers, who do not even defend the rights of the poor nor share their wealth or food with poor and needy. But in scriptures we see that when Jesus and his disciples threw parties they invited the poor, the crippled, the lame and the blind. Luke 14:12-13 says but when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame and the blind.

There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men says Proverb 30:14.

We can remember the parable Jesus told about the beggar Lazarus and the rich man (Luke 16:19-31). Jesus says only that the rich man had great wealth and that he enjoyed his wealth while Lazarus suffered miserably outside his gate. The rich man exploited Lazarus to acquire wealth. He simply neglected to share. So God punished him (Luke 16:19–31).

2)Godly rich: Godly rich is showing our generosity in the good works such as helping the poor , needy disabled, helping the humble widows , orphans, and foreigners sharing the testimony of God with unbelievers. No matter how justly we have acquired our wealth, God demands that we act generously towards the poor.

Proverbs 22:9 says A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor.

Proverb 29:7: The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: but the wicked regardeth not to know it.

3)God cares for poor: In the world today, we see only few people care about the poor. God curses on anyone who looks down on poor and needy. Proverb 28:27 says He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse. When we give the poor, we are lending it to God. Prov. 19:17 says He who is gracious to a poor man lends to the LORD, and He will repay him for his good deed.

4)Another kind of poor: Some people are poor because they make sinful choices because of lack of Self Control by being disobedient to the will of God by pursuing a life of pleasure and hypocrisy. Proverbs 28:19 reminds us that He who works his land will have abundant food, but the one who chases fantasies will have his fill of poverty and some people become poor because of unwise in their financial usage like buying things they don’t need, not saving for emergencies, buying a lot of things by making to many debts. People can bring poverty on themselves by refusing to follow wise counsel. Proverbs 13:18 says Poverty and disgrace come to him who ignores instruction, but whoever heeds reproof is honoured. Some of the choices they make are lying, stealing, willful ignorance of wise instruction, laziness, gluttony, gambling, lottery, drunkenness, negligence, waste, greediness, adultery and bad addictions. Do not be with heavy drinkers of wine, or with gluttonous eaters of meat. For the heavy drinker and the glutton will come to poverty and drowsiness will clothe a man with rags” (Pr. 23:20-21). Drunkenness can lead to sexual immorality, anger, fighting and even murder. For such kind of poor people we should admonish them to walk in righteous godly path by helping them to quit their present life style by rebuking and encouraging them to walk rightly in the eyes of God not human standards.

God will still hold us accountable for our actions. “He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy” (Pr. 28:13). Neither thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards shall inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Cor. 6:10). The apostle Paul commanded Christians …not to associate with any so-called brother if he should be an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler not even to eat with such a one. (1 Cor. 5:11).

Conclusion: True happiness, peace and satisfaction are there in our lives when we follow and live in God‘s ways.

Kill the Tobacco habit before it kills you!

For those who are in union with Christ, temptation and addictions are unable to touch us. Tobacco addiction is an addictive poison clearly harmful to our health and that itself makes a sin, hurts our testimony because it controls us which brings death and destruction. The Bible says, Sin when it is finished, brings forth death. Proverbs 5:22 says the evil deeds of a wicked man ensnare him; the cords of his sin hold him fast. Jesus said that the Devil is a liar, thief, and murderer who only comes to kill, steal, and destroy .Scripture warns us that “If any man defiles the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.” -1Corinthians 3:17.

Another big problem is when Parents , families, relatives and friends who get addicted to tobacco are controlled by their evil desires by setting bad examples for their children to follow and there are some other parents who will hide their addiction from their family members and pretend to be Godly and follow the hypocrite carnal path of lying, defending themselves living still a spiritually defeated Christian life and there are some who sit with their children and enjoy tobacco together as a family instead of sitting together for praying and enjoying quality time with family members. As parents we must teach our children not to be controlled by evil desires but to learn to resist and control them. James 4:7 says “Submit yourself therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you”.

Conclusion:God is waiting for you to come to Him .If you are using tobacco in any form, please be strong determined to stop NOW! You owe it to your loved ones, yourself and God to stop. I want to remind you Matthew 5:29-30 says if your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.

Father, I come to you, confessing my sin ,repenting for my sins and asking for your forgiveness.

In the Mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I surrender myself completely and I now renounce, break and loose myself and my family from all hereditary curses, and from all demonic bondage placed upon me as the result of sins, transgressions or iniquities through myself, my parents or any of my ancestors. I confess all the sins of my forefathers.

Father, I ask you to forgive me and my ancestors for any sin that has exposed me for this addiction and to live in bondage of sins. I command all evil spirits associated with any addictions to leave me in Jesus name.

In Jesus name I circumcise all my addiction thoughts and remove every pattern of tobacco addiction controlling me.

I now claim by faith that I am under divine protection and I cover myself with the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ to protect me from all addictions and evil desires.

I now confess that my body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, redeemed, cleansed and sanctified by the blood of Jesus. Therefore, Satan and any addictions has no place in me, and no power over me, through the blood of Jesus Christ. Lord I thank you for the provision of deliverance through the blood of Jesus Christ and the Gift of Life and I glorify your Name, all the days of my life. I thank you Jesus that you are the same God yesterday today and forever .Amen

Not Ready to Forgive

I Can’t Deny that Forgiveness is Good but…

Years ago whenever I heard teachings on forgiveness, I didn’t listen too closely because I felt I was a very forgiving person. There are many wise sayings about forgiveness, and I could pay them all lip service, but I didn’t need them. And while forgiveness can be considered a “spiritual” matter for some, the Mayo clinic acknowleges the importance of forgiveness. Still, I fooled myself into believing that forgiveness was not a problem for me.

Dismisal Hinders Forgiveness

Before taking steps on “how to forgive” It is important to acknowlege a need to forgive or be forgiven. Part of the problem may have been misunderstanding whatforgivenss means. I was mistaking “write off” for (more…)

Avoid Exposure to Secondhand Smoking!

God’s True believers do not smoke. When non-smokers are exposed to secondhand smoke it is called involuntary smoking or passive smoking. Non-smokers who breathe in secondhand smoke take in nicotine and other toxic  chemicals just like smokers do. The more secondhand smoke you are exposed to, the higher the level of these harmful chemicals in your body. God will not live in an unclean temple, whether it would be smoking, alcohol, cursing, lieing, drugs etc

So every time you light up as a smoker, you’re tearing apart God’s temple, decreasing your time to serve God and throwing away God’s money and also causing a stumbling block in the way of God’s people.

Smokers are opening themselves up for lung cancer; however, the people who are subjected to breathing the smoke second-hand are also subject to this disease. The person who willfully smokes is guilty of destroying their own bodies, but should those who are forced to live in the environment of the smoke get lung cancer, they are not guilty of this sin. When we teach that smoking causes lung cancer, we are not judging or condemning those who innocently get lung cancer from breathing second-hand smoke. It is simply a true fact that smoking can cause lung cancer. Satan will try us to get addicted for smoking which will slowly kill us over the span of several years by destroying and contaminating our numerous parts of our body which was made beautiful by god for glorifying God.

When you smoke you defile the temple of Yahweh (your body) not only with harmful substances which were never intended for the body but even more importantly you make the temple of Yahweh “a habitation of devils” (Rev.18:2).

The Bible says that God’s “people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” — Hosea 4:6

“If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are” (1 Cor.3:17,). Our body is not our own, and we should seek to live clean and Holy lives both in reverence to the Lord and as an example to others showing that we are different from the world.

Smoking is not compatible with living a Christian, Spirit-filled life: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law (Galatians 5:22,23).

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love (2 Peter 1:5-7).

Evil Company corrupts good habits: The righteous should CHOOSE HIS FRIENDS CAREFULLY, for the way of the wicked leads them astray.” (Proverbs 12:26)

“Do not be deceived: “Evil Company corrupts good habits.” Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God.” (1 Corinthians 15:33)

Some children pick up habits—good and bad—from their parents. This is why Solomon was inspired to write, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Prov. 22:6).

The Bible tells us that we are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, that we are to stay away from people who cause divisions and offenses, and to withdraw from every brother who walks disorderly. But when Jesus went after these sinners, it was always for the express purpose of getting them saved and cleaned up. You know that if your children start hanging out with the wrong type of crowd, they can become very easily corrupted in a very short period of time.

That is the response of one who will never overcome smoking because they are denying the truth about its destructive affects. How can one account for the fact that this man’s wife who never smoked a cigarette in her life died of lung cancer the doctors said absolutely came from cigarette smoke? The fact is her husband killed her.

Second hand smoke from cigarettes harms not just the smoker, but family, friends and co-workers. The Bible says we are to love our neighbor. Jesus said that loving one’s neighbor was next to loving one’s parents “Honor thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself” (Matthew 19:19 ). Romans 13:10 teaches us that “Love worketh no ill to his neighbour.” It is certainly not an act of love to smoke around other people exposing them to the deadly effects of cigarette smoke.

We are to love our children, but people who smoke are potentially harming young children. Many studies have shown that in the first two years of life, babies of parents who smoke at home have a much higher rate of lung diseases such as bronchitis and pneumonia than babies with non-smoking parents. Infants and children have tender tissues and are more susceptible to passive smoke. Acute respiratory illnesses happen twice as often to young children whose parents smoke even if they are without asthma. Passive smoke exposure is associated with 150,000 to 300,000 cases of chronic bronchitis and pneumonia in children younger than eighteen months. Exposure to smoke can cause people to develop many lung problems, such as allergies, asthma, and heart problems. A study involving children from five years-old to nine years-old showed impaired lung function in youths who had smoking parents as compared with children whose parents were non-smokers. Smoking by pregnant women seems to predispose premature babies to respiratory distress syndrome. Parents who smoke at home can aggravate symptoms in some children with asthma and even trigger asthma episodes. Further children exposed to secondhand smoke can develop middle ear infections, suffer from wheezing, coughing, and worsen asthma conditions. It is quite contradictory for a parent to love their children and yet expose them to cigarette smoke and by their example are teaching their children to smoke also. The Lord promises us long life in the Bible but those who violate His commandments are choosing to shorten their own lives. When a Christian smokes tobacco he is evidencing that there is an area in his life that is not submitted to Christ. A smoker is opening the door to the demon of self-destruction – the fact that it is happening slowly makes no difference – he is removing himself from the protection of Yahweh and shortening his lifespan.

Second Hand smoke: when smokers force non-smokers to passively breathe their fumes they are oppressing and hurting others, sometimes even slowly killing them. Smoking can therefore become slow murder. Secondhand smoke can cause harm in many ways. In the United States alone, each year it is responsible for:

An estimated 46,000 deaths from heart disease in non-smokers who live with smokers

About 3,400 lung cancer deaths in non-smoking adults

Other breathing problems in non-smokers, including coughing, mucus, chest discomfort, and reduced lung function

50,000 to 300,000 lung infections (such as pneumonia and bronchitis) in children younger than 18 months of age, which result in 7,500 to 15,000 hospitalizations annually

Increases in the number and severity of asthma attacks in about 200,000 to 1 million children who have asthma

More than 750,000 middle ear infections in children

Pregnant women exposed to secondhand smoke are also at increased risk of having low birth- weight babies.

The 2006 US Surgeon General’s report reached some important conclusions:

  • Secondhand smoke causes premature death and disease in children and in adults who do not smoke.
  • Children exposed to secondhand smoke are at an increased risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), acute respiratory infections, ear problems, and more severe asthma. Smoking by parents causes breathing (respiratory) symptoms and slows lung growth in their children.
  • Secondhand smoke immediately affects the heart and blood circulation in a harmful way. Over a longer time it also causes heart disease and lung cancer.
  • The scientific evidence shows that there is no safe level of exposure to secondhand smoke.
  • Many millions of Americans, both children and adults, are still exposed to secondhand smoke in their homes and workplaces despite a great deal of progress in tobacco control.
  • The only way to fully protect non-smokers from exposure to secondhand smoke indoors is to prevent all smoking in that indoor space or building. Separating smokers from non-smokers, cleaning the air, and ventilating buildings cannot keep non-smokers from being exposed to secondhand smoke.

Secondhand smoke in the workplace has been linked to an increased risk for heart disease and lung cancer among adult non-smokers. Everyone can be exposed to secondhand smoke in public places, such as restaurants, shopping centers, public transportation, schools, and daycare centers. Any family member can develop health problems related to secondhand smoke.

Children are especially sensitive to secondhand smoke. Asthma, lung infections, and ear infections are more common in children who are around smokers. Some of these problems can be serious and even life-threatening. Others may seem like small problems, but they add up quickly: think of the expenses, doctor visits, medicines, lost school time, and often lost work time for the parent who must take the child to the doctor. In the United States, 21 million, or 35% of children live in homes where residents or visitors smoke in the home on a regular basis. About 50% to 75% of children in the US have detectable levels of cotinine, the breakdown product of nicotine, in their blood.

Think about it: we spend more time at home than anywhere else. A smoke-free home protects your family, your guests, and even your pets.

Research does show that secondhand tobacco smoke can get into hair, clothing, and other surfaces. Children who spend one hour in an extremely smoky room inhale enough toxic chemicals to equal smoking 10 cigarettes. Children in smoking households experience more middle ear infections. Inhaled cigarette smoke irritates the Eustachian tube, and the subsequent swelling leads to infections, which are the most common cause of hearing loss in children.

It has been estimated that between 50 and 75 percent of children in the United States have detectable levels of cotanine in their bloodstream.

Secondhand smoke exposure causes acute lower respiratory infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia in infants and young children.

Secondhand smoke exposure causes children who already have asthma to experience more frequent and severe attacks.

Secondhand smoke exposure causes respiratory symptoms, including cough, phlegm, wheeze, and breathlessness, among school-aged children.

Children exposed to secondhand smoke are at increased risk for ear infections and are more likely to need an operation to insert ear tubes for drainage.

Some researchers call this “thirdhand” smoke. This refers to the toxic particles that are left in the air after you can no longer see the smoke. Over time, they settle on surfaces and can be measured long after the person is done smoking. Though unknown, the cancer-causing effects would likely be very small compared with direct exposure to secondhand smoke, such as living in a house with a smoker. But this is an active area of tobacco research.

Lies of Satans about smoking: Many of us have lost friends and/or relatives who smoked throughout their lives. Smoking will make to think and make decisions better.

Smoking will help to calm the nerves. When a Christian smokes he is sending a signal to the world that Christ approves of smoking and that therefore there is nothing wrong in it. Smoking often runs in families because of family curses. Breaking ungodly ancestral ties may be needed – indeed, one should do so as a matter of course if you know anyone else in your family smokes. Finally, you need to confess and repent that you have been living in rebellion against Him, polluting His temple. The devil does not want God’s people walking in health and wholeness. Friends who want us to sin make it easier for us to sin. Stay away from relationships where ungodly people decide what you will do. Stay out of groups that love ungodly things. Stay away from places where it is easy to do wrong. God commands us to SEPARATE from the sinful world and not to help them by befriending their wickedness. Anyone who claims as a Christian yet follows world ways are not a true Christian Because 1st John 2:15 says “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”

We are commanded by God to preach the truth, never compromisingly for any reason whatsoever. We are to love everyone, but love does not mean that we should stop hating sin. . As true believers, we must stand uncompromisingly against the works of flesh , darkness and works of Satan. Nowadays, churches are full of professing Christians who think it ok to keep one foot in the world, and enjoy the pleasures of this world. The Bible tells us that we are to be a good example, showing others the love of Christ through our behavior and life styles. We should do all we can to bring others into God’s Kingdom and never do anything that would cause a person to stumble in his Christian walk. You need to choose this day whom you will serve. You can serve God and ask Him to clean up your life, or you can continue serving your own fleshly desires which leads to indirectly serving devil. No sin is excusable or permissible in the Christian’s life. God hates all sin and wants us to forsake all sin as his children.

There are lots of people who fail to acknowledge their sins, faults, mistakes or wrong doing. They are unrepentant concerning their sin, often rationalize and look for excuses to justify their sins. They make every attempt to justify their wrong doing and claim that there was nothing wrong in their doing but the Holy Bible Clearly says it’s wrong. There are lots of professing Christians living spiritually defeated lives because of their unrighteous acts such as adultery, lust, temptation, addiction to tobacco, smoking, drugs, immodestly dressed women, drunkenness to gambling, divorce, living together, premarital sex, pornography, sexual perversions etc , they tried to justify their sin gradually develop a rebellious spirit.

Smoking /chewing tobacco etc does not glorify God. Smoking or tobacco chewing becomes addictive which makes a slave out of those who use it, it is a bad witness for the Christ, it may be harmful to others, and causes for our weaker brethren to stumble.

So many people today are committing horrible sins, twisting the Scriptures in a sinful attempt to say, “I have done no wickedness.”

Those who claim to “love the Lord,” and yet follow worldly things in dressing and in every thing testify to little more than their lack of discernment and confused loyalties. They put their personal reputation and the integrity of their Christian witness at risk. The Bible speaks of those that are “double-minded,” and warns that they are “unstable” in all their ways and receive nothing from the Lord (James 1:7, 8). Many professing Christians may even appear to have a real excitement and love for the Lord-however, their body is sending out a totally different message. The spiritual Blindness is caused due to the effect of sin, a work of the devil and Leads to all evil. When God’s people do not obey Him, He allows a spirit of blindness to come over them. The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1 Corinthians 2:14

Smoking does not glorify God.

Stay away from ungodly:

Ungodly people are the people whose lives are not godly and are ALWAYS opposed to God and his ways. THE BIBLE says that ungodly people hated knowledge and did not choose to fear the LORD and they will eat the fruit of their ways and be filled with the fruit of their schemes. They are people who do not put God and his Word first in their life. They decide what is right and wrong out of their own mind and lusts, and reject and despise God’s demands and prohibitions. The counsel of the ungodly is any philosophy, teaching, idea, thoughts, behaviors, and attitude that does not come from the Bible and the Holy Spirit rather it comes from evils spirit which is demonic.. The way of sinners is the path of one’s own will instead of God’s will.

God’s word says that you need to choose people that will lead you CLOSER to God – evil, ungodly people will corrupt you. A godly person encourages you to be godly and to be faithful to God and he warns you when he sees you going astray, he will really love you enough to point out your sin and he will be concerned about your walk with God. God desires for us to be victorious in our purity. He knows we need friends who are like-minded with Him and who will encourage us in our walk of purity. The knowledge that the ungodly has is corrupted because they do not get it from God. Instead they get it from other ungodly people or from their own corrupted imagination. God tells us NOT to walk in their counsel. God’s will is for us to turn away from the counsel of the wicked. There is no sin or habit which cannot be overcome, but sinners continue in sinning and they morally corrupt their surroundings. When we were born into this world, we were born with a sinful nature that opposes the law of God. But when we are born again by the Spirit of God, we received a new divine nature that hates sin and we are born of God which we have a new nature that is convicting us of the sin in our life and moving them forward in God’s grace and victory over sin.

American Idols

When I talk about American Idols, I’m not talking about the TV show American Idol.  I’m talking about the idea of idols.  Idols can be anything.  Some people might have money, a big house, fame, sex as their idol.  Wikipedia’s definition for Idol is “An idol is a man-made object that is worshiped in some way.”

Now, let me stress that there is nothing wrong with sex, fame or having money, etc. in the right context.  Let’s take money for example.  Many well known godly people in the Bible had lots of money and wealth, like Abraham, Solomon, David and many others.  The question is, where is your heart?  Is your money controlling you?  Are you a slave to your money?  Are you focused on just on the accumulation of money?   When money becomes your focus, in other words your idol, it is then when you’re getting into real trouble.

It’s worth thinking about.  First of all, you will never experience lasting fulfilling success if your focus is on money.  Bill Gates did not make his money by focusing on money.  He had a passion for computers and software and money was a side effect of his passion.  Besides failure, having the wrong attitude about money can cost you everything including your soul?  Here is what the Bible says about money and success.

“For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
Matthew 16:26 (NKJV)

Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.  And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.”  Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ”  Matthew 4:8-10 (NKJV)

Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?  1 Corinthians 1:20 (NKJV)

But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence.  1 Corinthians 1:27-29 (NKJV)

You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men.  1 Corinthians 7:23 (NKJV)

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.  Romans 12:2 (NKJV)

Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.  1 Timothy 6:17 (NKJV)

Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.  James 4:4 (NKJV)

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  For all that is in the world–the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life–is not of the Father but is of the world.  And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.  1 John 2:15-17 (NKJV)

“He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.  John 12:25 (NKJV)

The amazing thing is that when we focus on God, he takes care of us.  His promises are amazing for people that focus on him.  He provides true, lasting and enjoyable success.

“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.  Josh 1:8 (NKJV)

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.  2 Cor 9:8 (NKJV)

But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.  He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.   Psalms 1:2-3 (NKJV)

The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.   Prov 18:10 (NKJV)

then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment,
2 Peter 2:9 (NKJV)

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.  Phil 4:19 (NKJV)

Frankly, it’s hard to change some of our attitudes like the one about money by ourselves, however, if we ask God, he promises to help us change from the inside out.
