Capability of Sinning yet Choosing Not to Sin!

Gods’ word says that He who does what is sinful is of the devil (1 John 3:8)
God says that saints are made free from sin and have became slaves of righteousness (Romans 6:18)

Gods word says that Christ Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness by whose stripes we were healed.(1 Peter  2:24)

Gods word says that Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for; through the fear of the LORD a man avoids evil.( Proverbs 16:6)

The word of God keeps from sinning (Psalms 17:4, Psalms 119:11)

Gods word says that the wicked are the servants to sin (John 8:34, Romans 6:16)

Gods word says that the wicked encourage themselves in an evil matter, make a mock and Boast at sin, Cannot cease from sins and they throw blame on others and God (Psalm 64:5, Isaiah 3:9, Proverbs 14:9, Genesis 3:12, Genesis 3:12-13, Jeremiah 7:10)

God’s word says that the wicked Delight and tempt others to do sin (1 Kings 16:2, Proverbs 1:10-14, Hosea 7:3, Romans 1:32)

God’s word says that for sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace. Romans 6:14

God’s word says that No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God (1 John 3:9)

God’s word says Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)

God’s word says that to live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature .Gal. 5:16

God says that in your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. Heb. 12:4

God’s word says that therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. (Rom. 6:12)

God’s word says that Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey— whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? (Rom. 6:16)

God’s word says that as obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; (1 Pet. 1:14, 15)

God’s word says that No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. (1 Cor. 10:13)

God’s word says that those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. (Rom. 8:5)

God’s word says that for the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, (Titus 2:11, 12)

Sinful men hate to be rebuked!

The wicked people encourage themselves in sin and also Delight in those who commit sins. They also have numerous unbiblical excuses to commit sin and to defend their sinful ways. When you question them they mock and boast about their sins also they try to tempt others and they either blame God others for their sinful natures and they say we are all sinners and they quote the bible verse” All have sinned”. They have become spiritual Blinded which is caused due to the effect of sin, a work of the devil and Leads to all evil. When God’s people do not obey Him, He allows a spirit of blindness to come over them. The wicked and Sinful people do not have self-control, they hate discipline, hate God’s law , commandments and his way .

Whoever corrects a mocker invites insult; whoever rebukes a wicked man incurs abuse. Proverbs 9:7

Psalms 64:5 they encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?

Prov 9:8 Do not correct a scoffer, lest he hate you; Rebuke a wise man, and he will love you.

Proverbs12:1 Whoever loves correction loves knowledge, But he who hates reproof is stupid.

Proverbs 9:7 He who corrects a mocker invites insult. He who reproves a wicked man invites abuse.

Proverbs 9:8 Don’t reprove a scoffer, lest he hate you.

The righteous hate what is false:

The righteous hate what is false, but the wicked bring shame and disgrace. Proverbs 13:5

It is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. 1 Peter 3:17

Rebuke your neighbor frankly so you will not share in his guilt. Leviticus 19:17

Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. 2 Timothy 4:2

Let those who love the LORD hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked. Psalm 97:10

The words of the godly are a life-giving fountain; the words of the wicked conceal violent intentions. Proverbs 10:11

An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous, And he who is upright in the way is an abomination to the wicked. Proverbs 29:27

Freedom in Christ!

Freedom in Christ means it’s not a freedom to do whatever or however we wish rather, we are free from sin so that we may obey God (Romans 6:17-19). The children of the devil live to please themselves instead of choosing a lifestyle that is pleasing to God. God wants us to pursue holiness. He wants us to live the Holy Spirit filled life. True Christian believer who has truly come to know Christ will be free from sin, they will be holy, in thought, in word and in deed. God’s power is at work in us (Eph. 3:20). Through Christ, we ARE dead to sin (Rom. 6) and we ARE crucified with Christ; He lives in us (Gal. 2:20).

God says that we need to know the truth, Trust and obey God, Recognize and resist deception (Colossians 2:8) and Stand firm in Christ. God’s freedom refers to the spiritual freedom we have in His Kingdom, not to the physical or earthly “freedoms” of the world. When people are not in Christ, they are still guilty of sin; their destiny is to be burned like worthless, dead branches. But when people are forgiven of sins, they come into Christ and no longer stand under condemnation. As long as we fear God and keep His commandments, our eyes stay focused on God and our savior Jesus Christ, we cannot go wrong.

“Walking with Jesus, we may be hated, imprisoned and killed for our faith, but such assaults do not infringe on the freedom we enjoy in Christ.”

No one who abides in him keeps sinning. No one who sins knows who He really is…for God is holy and righteous. (1 John 3:5-9)

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.” Galatians 5:1

Some of us might say that God is all-forgiving so he will forgive us when we keep on sinning against him. Look at our own attitude toward sin! Some of us think that because we call Jesus “Lord” and have acknowledged him as “the Savior” that this will allow us to keep on sinning, but still be forgiven. But Jesus said, “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?” (Luke 6:46). We might feel “safe” because we supposedly know the truth. However, the Bible says that if we persist in going our own way, God will never be willing to forgive us even if we feel safe now (Deut. 29:19-20). Jesus came to destroy sin, the works of the devil.

Again some of us may say We can obey God sometimes, but of course we will still sin.” So, many professing believers EXPECT to continue to sin and therefore they do because without faith in God to keep them from sin, they will surely fall. “They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him” (Titus 1:16). They have a form of godliness going to church every week and being “spiritual” MOST of the time, but when it comes down to it, they have not accepted God’s provision to overcome sin and thus they deny the power to be godly. If the Christian refuses to admit the sin and instead chooses to call it a “mistake” and does not seek the forgiveness of God then he or she is in danger of falling under the wrath of God (Heb. 10:26-31). And do not try to cover up your sin. For, “He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy” (Prov 28:13). And after you have confessed and repented of your sin, trust God to give you the grace and strength to overcome it in the future. “For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace” (Rom 6:14). God says that EVERYONE who sins is a slave to sin.

We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?” Romans 6:2

“You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness” (Rom. 6:18).

“No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him” (I John 3:6).

So these people are like seed sown along a path: they “hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts” (Luke 8:12).

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. James 4:7-10

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’” (Matt 7:21-23).

Hence let us clothe ourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature. (Romans 13:14). All of this is given to us as a choice. We can choose this day whom we shall serve. Will we serve our own motives and desires or will we serve Christ by putting on His nature and character? Will we pursue the motivations of His heart through servant-hood or will we allow selfish ambition to continue to rule our thoughts.

May God bless you all for the rich love and beauty that springs from your spirit!

Righteous person gets angry, gets persecuted, can rebuke and can judge!

1. True Christian: Followers of Jesus Christ were first called “Christians” in Antioch (Acts 11:26) because their behavior, activity, and speech were like Christ. For More details please read my article “Who is a True Christian?”

2.Followers of Jesus Christ should expect persecution: Persecution comes to the believers of Jesus Christ and those who follow him. 5. Should we judge others? We are NOT to Judge a person’s MOTIVES (Matt 7:1), but we are to Judge a Fellow Believer’s (a Teacher’s) ACTIONS or FRUIT to make sure the Essential Christian Doctrine is Correct— to make sure it’s NOT Contrary to God’s Word, and the “Teachings of Jesus.” ( For more details please read my other article” Should we judge others?”.

John 7:24 “Do Not JUDGE according to Appearance, but JUDGE WITH RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT.”

1 Cor 14:29 : “Let Two or Three PROPHETS SPEAK, and let the OTHERS JUDGE.”

Luke 12:57:Why don’t you judge for yourselves what is right?

1 Corinthians 6:5:I say this to shame you. Is it possible that there is nobody among you wise enough to judge a dispute between believers?

1 Corinthians 2:15: The spiritual man [ie: the believer] makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man’s judgment.

6. Righteous anger: As believers we do have the right to be angry under certain conditions. There are 2 types of anger Righteous Anger and Unrighteous Anger.

Righteous Anger is said when a Godly man gets angry when someone violates God’s law, and it is anger which is lawfully expressed. Righteous anger is targeted against sinful behavior , against wicked people and true injustice. Righteous anger is the quality of being angry or having indignation toward those things with which God Himself gets angry. God loved righteousness and equally hated sin. This kind of anger is good but unrighteous anger is always bad.

Examples of Righteous anger in the Bible:
God is angry: God is angry at the wicked, disobedience, those who forsake him, against unbelievers, against the sinful nations, against those who oppose the gospel, those who provoke God, those who sin against him.

Romans 2:8 :, “But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath.”

John 3:36:He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him

Jesus is angry: Jesus was angry at wicked traditions, their motives, and their sins.

Mark 11:20 – Jesus Curses a Fig Tree

In Mark 3:5 Jesus was angry with the hypocrisy of the Pharisees who did not permit Him to do good on the Sabbath.

Matthew 12:34:O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.”

John 2:15:”And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables”

Matthew 16:23:But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.”

Paul also tells the church at Ephesus to be angry without sinning ( Ephesians 4:26).

I confess but I can not repent!

We see in Acts 17:30,God commands all men everywhere to repent .Even Christ came to call sinners to repentance not the righteous. God call us to repent when we have forgotten and offended him and living in sin or in unrighteous ways.

There lots of people who do not want to repent truly and if they do, they do merely do lip service of repentance .They fail to acknowledge their sins. After their lip service they go right back and sin again. That is not true repentance.

There are also different kind of people who have enough pride who are not willing to look bad, will gladly say sorry” through lip service to save their image. They think if you just say sorry is repentance. This is not true repentance either.

There are few others who think that by saying formula of sinners prayer will save them without being genuinely REPENTED of their sins. Some false preachers say that you can gladly receive Christ without following Him or without obeying his commandments they strengthen the hands of evildoers, comforting them in their sin rather than calling them to repentance humble themselves to Turn from sin.

True repentance is that we must first acknowledge our sins or wrong doing in our heart and have sincere remorse or regret about one’s wrong doing. Then the Holy Spirit draws us to Jesus Christ by convicting us of sin which produces a life of holiness and righteousness that comes by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus and the Apostles preached that man must repent and have a complete change of mind and heart in order to enter the Kingdom of God.

There are lots of scriptures which tell us that God wants us to repent.

2 Peter 3:9: God wants everyone to repent

Acts 17:30: God commands all people everywhere to repent

Acts 26:20: Paul preached repentance

Ezekiel 14:6: Repent and turn from all of your abominations

Failure IS an Option

“The line between failure and success is so fine that we scarcely know when we pass it: so fine that we are often on the line and do not know it.”  –Elbert Hubbard, American writer

Failure is not always a bad or a negative experience.  Some people use failure as an excuse to stop striving for what they really want or need.  The Bible says in Proverbs 24:16,  “for though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again…” According to Charles C. Manz, in his book, The Power of Failure: 27 Ways to Turn Life’s Setbacks into Success, “Sometimes failure is failure, at least in the short run.  If we can learn to accept failure as a necessary part of life and then take from it the valuable lessons it offers, we can transcend it.  Sometimes it’s best to not try to deny or redefine failure but to effectively cope and cooperate with it for future success.”

We may experience setbacks in life, but if we continue to rise again, the very next time may be the push we need to make it to our reward.  As Donnie McClurkin says in his popular gospel song, “We fall down, but we get up…”  The only way to accomplish what God is calling you to do is to have faith that God will be with you through it all.  “for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.” (Philippians 2:13)  As long as we are obedient, God will even supply the faith, “… think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.” (Romans 12:3)

“Most people search high and wide for the key to success. If they only knew, the key to their dreams lies within.”  – George Washington Carver. American inventor
