Social Networks Training

Social Networks has been made
popular by sites like
MySpace, Twitter & Facebook.

As an entrepreneur there are many
ways to benefit from such places
and best of all, advertising is free
on these networks.  I personally
have made sales from my
advertising on such sites.   With
worldwide exposure of hundreds
of million people the potential is
huge.

Benefits To Marketing On My
Space:
  • Access over 220 million
    people
  • One of the top FREE
    advertising methods around
  • Target Your Audience by
    category
  • Easy way to have your own
    site
  • Has video capabilities
  • Has high relevancy in
    Google for SEO purposes

The first thing you need to do is to
get at least an account with one of these
networks.  I have a
Myspace account...see mine here.

How To Set Up Your Own MySpace Site - Video
(13 Minutes)

There are many ways to advertise and get exposure from
sharing videos to
advertising in specific forums and groups within these networks.

The first thing you would do is open an account with one of these networks
and best of all...it only takes minutes to do so.
Sign up here.
Log into MySpace here.

Next, you personalize your site by filling in your info.

The basic layout of
Myspace is pretty boring.  You can spice up your layout with the help of
one of these sites.
www.myspacetotal.com and www.myprofilepimp.com and several
other site...just type Myspace layouts into Google and you'll find tons of layouts.

Once you get the code, just paste it into the about space of your profile page...it's very easy.

You can import picture, write a profile,
upload home videos, create a blog and
so much more.  You can always change and add items as you learn how to use
these sites more and more.

Once your profile is done, it's time to get exposure.

Getting Friends:
There are several ways to go about that...
like "browse for friends" by age, geography,
category, etc.

My favorite way to find friends is to go to
groups.  You can search for specific groups
of interest.  For a networking professional
like myself, I would look for groups like
MLM,
Network Marketing, etc. for the simple
reason that these are people that are in a
home business already.   Then all you have
to do is show them why your business is
better.  If you would like to reach people in
other categories that fit your product or
service, just type in that keyword.  It's
amazing that there seems to be a group for
just about anything.

To get friends, simply click on someones picture and click on the "add friend" button...then you click
on a confirmation button and you now invited someone to be a friend.  That person will then have to
accept you as a friend before they will show up under your friend area.  In my experience, you should
get about 30% to %50 of people who you request to be friends accept your invitation.  I would stick
to people who are professional...becuase you want to have a professional appeal.

Getting friends is a pretty brainless job.  I usually get friends when watching TV
etc.   You would want to get at least 200 to 500 friends or more over a few
months time.

You can use software to get friends, however, be aware that you could get your
Myspace account deleted by Myspace...like I did (twice) after getting over
2,500 friends...that is a real bummer. Myspace is constantly cracking down on
people who use automated tools.

Here are some of these tools.
Be careful to limit your posting to no more than 100 per day with these tools.
You could get your account closed by MySpace.

Joining Groups On Myspace:
By joining groups in these networks, you then can advertise by posting in "Topics" and "Bulletins".
Be aware that you have to wait several days after creating an account before Myspace lets you post
ads.  I would suggest to just focus on getting friends and joining groups for the first week.

Posting Ad On Myspace:
You can also post your ads in forums on myspace, however, you don't have to join them.

Creating An Event on Myspace:
You can also create an event like a Thursday night call and post it as an event.  These promotions
are limited to your friend list.  It's one of the reasons to have as many friends as possible.

Post a Bulletin To Your Friend's List on Myspace:
This is just a regular post and goes only to your friends.

Posting Comments On BIG Friends on Myspace:
This is a great way to get exposure.  Finds friends that have hundreds and even thousands of friends
and post a comment on their Myspace site.  You can get a lot of traffic from that.

Starting your Own Group on Myspace:
That is a great way to get exposure.  You can stat your own group of Networking professionals...like
a Home Business Group to share ideas.

Writing Ads for Myspace:
When writing ads the same rule applies as to writing any ads for online advertising.  The headline
should be enticing so people would open the ad.  The body should want them to click on that link.
See "Headlines" on this site for more information on that subject.

Placing Picture Ads on Myspace:
To place picture ads, you need to use html code into the ad.  Below are some basic codes you can
us.
This code will work in Myspace as well as Craigslist.

<a href="
http://yourdomainhere.com">
<img border="0" src="
http://yourdomainhere.com/graphic.jpg" width="525" height="400"
></a><br>

The
first part is your click URL...which is your website you want the ad to go to when
someone clicks on it...
http://yourdomainhere.com.

The Second string is the place you have your picture stored...the
location of your picture on your website.  If your right click on the
picture to the right it would give you the location of where this picture
is located on my site.  You can simply upload a picture to a website
or blog end then use it for advertising like I did here.  You would then
put the address into the code above and you have an ad...cool huh?
http://yourdomainhere.com/graphic.jpg

Here is an ad I ran in Myspace (you can try to post it and you will see
a picture when it reviews before the post.  You can also change the
size of the add by changing the width and height below.

Article Marketing SECRETS Revealed – NEW Program (Headline)
The code below goes into the body of the text (you can have additional writing before or after the
code, however, you don't have to...the ad says it all).

<a href="http://www.how2succeedonline.net/TheUltimateArticlemarketingPack.html">
<img border="0" src=" http://www.how2succeedonline.net/images/PeterSalesBox400x441.jpg"
width="400" height="441"></a><br>

The following is code to hide the link of your ad.  Let's say that you're using your EDC link but you
don't want to type it out...you can use the following link to hide it.

A Professional SALES TEAM Sells for Me...This is Too EASY!
(Headline)
I made $1,000 this morning and I never talked to anyone...MUST SEE! (Body Text)
<a href="http://www.yourURLHere" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><p><font size="4"> Click Here To
Check It Out!</a>

The ads would look like this.

A Professional SALES TEAM Sells for Me...This is Too EASY!
I MADE $1,000 this morning and I never talked to anyone...MUST SEE!
Click Here To Check It Out!

As you can see...the link does not show.

Videos On Myspace:
Myspace is a great place to promote your videos.  First, you can upload your videos to Myspace.
You can also put your video on your front page of your site to see by simply taking the code of your
video and pasting into the profile or other area on your Myspace front page.  See the "
Video
Marketing Section" for more information on how to implement this.
